submissions opportunities--plus Surrey Writers' Conference registration

The Masters Review, based in Oregon, is "A platform for emerging writers." Interesting submissions opportunities at the following website. Scroll down to see them all. https://mastersreview.com/submissions/

Also note the following announcement from Surrey [BC] International Writers Conference.

From conference coordinator Kathy:

May 28, 2019

Nearly there! Registration for #SiWC19 opens in ONE WEEK. If you haven't already marked your calendar for Wednesday, June 5 at noon Pacific time, go do it now. Last year, our full conference packages sold out in just 27 hours, so if you want a spot at this year's conference, don't put off registering.

Don't forget applications are now open for our SiWC Diversity Scholarship and our Tan Seagull Young Writers Scholarship. If either category applies to you, please apply. Details are on our website - www.siwc.ca - under News and Community.

Our writing contest is also open to entries. The Storytellers Award for short stories (fiction or creative non-fiction) awards $1000 and publication to the first prize winner. Winning entries are chosen by SiWC's own Diana Gabaldon and Jack Whyte. Your $15 entry fee, unchanged in more than a decade, goes directly to support the contest and our not-for-profit conference.

Next Wednesday marks the most exciting day of the year, other than the conference itself, for all of us here at SiWC Central. Watching your registrations come in makes all the hard work we put into creating the conference worthwhile. Looking forward to seeing many of your names then!
