I am sure that there is no lack of conversation on a long table full of writers. I also wonder if there were more round tables, allowing more people to speak face to face, whether discussions could be more inclusive . . .
i too was struck by the long table, suitable for writers of scrolls...perhaps an editor or two would have suggested a cozier format interior authors group...who knew...not i...until i followed a long trail from nellie mcclungs speaking of women in macleans 1916 issue...which had a poem .my mate. by robert service...then to his agreeable last stop in kamloops in elma.s almanac... hope your christmas was all you could wish for and our new year not an endless repeat of harm instead of harmony... ...added to my bookmarks...hoping to read more hear
