HISTORY + ART = PEACE The History + Art = Peace art contest aims to foster a deeper understanding of WWII history, human rights issues, and social justice values. Artists and writers are encouraged to submit their original work on the theme of "sustaining hope" and address the following question in their work: Stories and human rights violations from World War II in Asia are still forgotten today. How can creative arts sustain hope, reconciliation, and social justice? Prizes range from $100 - $1000. Deadline: July 8, 2016.
